Couldn't load pickup availability
You wanted to know my opinion on the purchase - here it is:
The product is probably very good, only I can't use it yet as I encountered some problems during installation. I was able to solve most of the problems. A manual and/or wiring diagram would have been helpful.
Therefore, I can only award 3 stars.
1. the new mainboard has no signal connector. The old mainboard was switched via relays/buttons, and therefore had a connection to a relay (4 pins). A proper power switch is required for the new setup. Relays and buttons are no longer required. [Solved]
2. the cable of the stepper motor for the Y-axis has a different polarity. Two wires must be swapped, otherwise the Y-axis will not work. [Solved]
3. the limit switch for the Y-axis does not work! [not yet solved!?!?!] (I will try to install another switch (3-pole), possibly optically, as there is a voltage (3V and 5V) on all pins).
4. the display does not work if it has electrical contact (ground) to the housing. [Solved]
5. the hole spacing for the display does not match the new one. I had to make an adapter (with CAD and another 3D printer). [solved]
Shipping worked much better this time than last time with the BMG extruders.
I've been really happy with my Tenlog D3-Pro since I bought it 18 months ago. I accidentally broke something while trying to modify it, so I took the opportunity to upgrade to the 32-bit motherboard. The first one I received didn't work, but support was very helpful and I soon got a replacement. It's working great now, and I'm very happy.
